Assistant Filler Operator

Position Overview:
As an Assistant Filler Operator at ADL West Royalty, you will support daily filling operations by preparing production materials, operating the labeler, supplying containers to the production line, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Working closely with the Filler Operator, you will help ensure products are prepared efficiently while meeting ADL's food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards.
Location: ADL West Royalty, Industrial Park, 50 4 St, Charlottetown, PE
Schedule: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Employees are scheduled to work four (4) days each week, Monday through Friday, with scheduled workdays determined by production requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Retrieve and prepare labels, empty cases, jugs, and other materials required for scheduled production runs

Set up and operate the labeler to ensure products are accurately labeled and ready for filling

Supply containers to the production line to support continuous filling operations

Assist with preparing equipment and production areas for safe and efficient operation

Clean and sanitize equipment and production areas following established procedures

Complete all required production records and documentation accurately and on time

Complete all required operational and safety training and apply this knowledge to perform duties safely and independently

Provide operational and safety training to employees, as required

Follow all food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures

Perform other related duties as required
Requirements:

Previous manufacturing or food production experience is considered an asset.

Physically capable of standing for extended periods, performing repetitive production tasks, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Ability to learn and operate production equipment safely and efficiently

Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality

Able to follow operating, sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety procedures consistently

Able to complete production records and documentation accurately
-
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
