Job Summary: We are seeking enthusiastic, patient, and vibrant Part-Time Tutors to join our team. If you love working with children and youth, have a knack for breaking down concepts, and want a rewarding role that fits your schedule, we want to hear from you.
You will be guiding students through general subjects (English, Math, Science, etc.), helping them build confidence, improve their grades, and develop a lifelong love for learning.
Key Responsibilities: Teach and mentor students ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 12 in general subjects. Deliver engaging lessons using the structured curriculum and lesson plans provided by CANtutor. Adapt your teaching style to meet the unique learning needs and paces of different students. Provide positive reinforcement, encouragement, and a supportive learning environment. Track and communicate student progress effectively.
Qualifications & Skills: Age Requirement: Minimum 14 years old (responsible high school students are welcome to apply!). Experience: 6 months of tutoring, teaching, peer mentoring, or childcare experience is recommended. Fantastic with Kids: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children and teenagers alike. Strong Communicator: Patient, clear, and encouraging communication style. Knowledgeable: Solid understanding of general school subjects. Reliable & Adaptable: Punctual, organized, and ready to bring high energy to every session.
