Job Description
We are a busy, organized household looking for a reliable, caring part-time evening nanny / family assistant to support our family during weekday evenings and occasional overnight care.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with school-aged children, values structure and routine, and is comfortable completing household tasks alongside childcare.
Schedule:
Guaranteed Weekly Hours
- Wednesdays & Fridays
- 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- 8 hours per week
Additional Hours
- Occasional overnight (Friday or Saturday, scheduled in advance)
- Optional extra hours available by mutual agreement
Children
- Three school-aged children
- No toddlers or infants
Responsibilities
Childcare
- Supervise and engage with children
- Assist with homework or reading
- Prepare and serve children’s dinner
- Support evening routines and bedtime preparation
Household Support
- Pack school lunches
- Children’s laundry and light household laundry
- Tidy kitchen and common living areas
- General household reset for the next day. (Weekly professional cleaner — no deep cleaning required)
Overnight Care
- Evening care (paid hourly)
- Overnight presence while children sleep (flat overnight rate)
- Morning care (paid hourly), including breakfast and school prep
Pay
- $24 per hour.
- Flat overnight rate for sleep hours (discussed during interview)
- Paid weekly
Qualifications
- Experience caring for multiple school-aged children
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
- Calm and confident managing evening routines
- Comfortable with meal prep and household tasks
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
- References required
