Position Summary
Club Verde is seeking an energetic, personable, and customer-focused Server/Bartender to join our team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to golfers, members, guests, and event attendees while creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well as part of a team, and takes pride in delivering outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a friendly, professional attitude and provide attentive service throughout their visit.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with responsible service regulations.
- Deliver food and drinks promptly while ensuring quality presentation.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily features, beverages, and specials to make recommendations to guests.
- Process payments accurately using the (POS) system.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar and dining area.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and liquor service standards.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning, stocking, cash reconciliation, and preparing the service areas.
- Support tournaments, weddings, banquets, and special events as required.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, fellow servers, and management to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Previous serving and bartending experience
- Serving It Right certification (or willingness to obtain before starting).
- Knowledge of food, wine, beer, and cocktails is an asset.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and tournament days.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
