As we enter our next stage of growth, we are looking for a talented Solutions Developer to join our team. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Customer Success and will work with the entire Customer Success team to configure and support OpsReady with a wide variety of customers. This is a remote position, preferably based in Halifax, Kamloops, or Calgary.
OpsReady is an industrial operations software platform used by asset owners and service providers to modernize field operations, streamline workflows, and improve safety and reliability. OpsReady successfully supports customers including industry heavy weights and family operated businesses. We’ve been able to do this because we have both a unique and powerful product and an excellent customer success team. The Solutions Developer role is a key part of our team, providing technical expertise regarding process configuration, automation logic, and integrations.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and complete configuration of customer sites, including the set up of automations, report templates, data structures, forms, etc.
- Configure complex data structures within OpsReady
- Design and maintain templated and custom workflows using the OpsReady automation framework
- Work with the OpsReady Product team to complete the setup, testing, and deployment of integrations with customer systems
- Conduct virtual and on-site training as required, working with Account Managers to coordinate timelines and objectives.
- Maintain expert knowledge of all product capabilities, including maintenance and improvement of product demonstrations
- Work with OpsReady’s Product Manager and the Implementation Manager to identify new features in support of customer success objectives and client requests
- Other duties as directed by your manager.
Some travel may be required in this role.
Skills, abilities and expectations
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Strong problem solving and debugging skills
- General familiarity with typescript/javascript, html, and css
- Detail oriented, with strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- A dedication to detail with demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality solutions to clients
- Creative, flexible, and innovative team player. (Innovative solutioning is critical)
- Data driven and self-motivated, with a desire to always be learning about ‘what’s next’
- Ability to build trust with both business and technical users in order to gather requirements and demonstrate product capabilities
- Excellent (and demonstrated) written and oral communication skills in both technical and non-technical settings
- Practical experience and use of AI tools in day-to-day development an asset
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Commitment to excellence, integrity and high-performance standards
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Familiarity with database design, data management, and automation
- Previous experience with scripting and or automation
- Experience in a customer-facing role
Other preferred skills, abilities and qualifications:
- Familiarity with one of more of the following industries: mining, utilities and renewables, oil and gas, industrial manufacturing, environmental services, or professional services
- Excellent (and demonstrated) presentation skills
- Project management experience
- Experience with geospatial data management is an asset

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
