Job Summary
Martins Electric is a locally owned electrical company specializing in commercial, industrial, and multi-residential projects throughout Western Canada. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, safety and teamwork. We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Electrical Apprentice (1st or 2nd year) to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist an experienced electrician in various tasks related to electrical installations, maintenance, and repair. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while working under the guidance of a skilled professional.
Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians on residential, commercial and/or industrial projects.
- Install and maintain electrical systems.
- Pull wire, mount devices, and assist with rough-ins and finishing.
- Read and interpret basic drawings and plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Registered 1st or 2nd Year Electrical Apprentice.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and take direction from experienced electricians.
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to safety and workmanship.
- Basic hand tools are considered an asset.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.50-$27.00 per hour
