Deliverables

Lead Nuclear Steam Supply System (NSS) Minor Modification projects by performing Modification Team Leader (MTL) and Field Team Leader (FTL) responsibilities in accordance with OPG Nuclear Engineering Change Control processes.

Manage project execution, including planning, field coordination, cost control, schedule management, engineering reviews, inspections, and commissioning support to ensure safe, compliant, and timely project delivery.

Provide engineering guidance to field teams by reviewing designs, approving Field Initiated Changes (FICs), supporting Project Control Centre (PCC) activities, resolving field issues, and coordinating with EPC vendors throughout project execution.

Maintain and improve engineering procedures, technical documentation, and Engineering Change Control processes while supporting continuous improvement initiatives that minimize project risk, schedule impacts, and operational disruption.
Experience Required
-
8+ years of engineering and project management experience supporting power generation, industrial, or nuclear facilities, with direct involvement in plant modifications and field execution activities.

Proven experience performing Modification Team Leader (MTL), Field Team Leader (FTL), Engineering Change Control (ECC), or similar engineering leadership responsibilities for capital or maintenance projects.

Strong experience managing project scope, cost, schedule, field implementation, engineering reviews, inspections, commissioning support, contractor coordination, and Field Initiated Changes (FICs).

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, with strong technical knowledge of power plant systems, engineering design, construction, commissioning, and plant operations.

Excellent communication, technical writing, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide engineering guidance, support EPC vendors, develop procedures, and drive successful project outcomes.
