Glow Health & Vitality is currently looking for an exceptional Chiropractic Assistant to join our Holistic Wellness team. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the Clinic Director and the Team Lead, to ensure that the overall operation of Glow provides the highest standards of service and excellence for our practice members and team. This individual enjoys interacting with clients, taking pride in themselves and their workplace, in addition to providing excellent and professional customer service and working well in a team-oriented environment.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in the operations of a fast-paced administrative, restaurant or hospitality venue and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. They will also have a proven track record of exceeding goals and building relationships within a community, be detail-oriented, confident and assertive. They will possess strong financial acumen and some knowledge of accounting programs and principles.
Position Overview:
As a Chiropractic Assistant, you will assist with and oversee client experiences at Glow, including office visits, orientation, some clinical procedures, processing financial transactions, and administrative support and coordination. Our team is passionately committed to providing exceptional health and wellness services everyday. To do this, we need the support of a great team. The Front Desk is the hub of our Wellness Centre and you will ensure that each experience is professional, personal and exceptional.
You will report to the Clinic Director and owners and work closely with the onsite team which includes Chiropractic Assistants, Chiropractors, Registered Massage Therapists and Acupuncturist/Reflexologist to support client care and the Glow Team to create a guest experience that embodies The Glow Vision. Each member of this team is encouraged to demonstrate innovative thinking and provide support to each other as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Create strong and long lasting relationships with guests
- Lead by example to ensure that Glow meets guest standards and guest concerns/complaints are resolved in a professional manner
- Assist as needed, to maximize guest occupancy and to provide an exceptional experience for each guest
- Maintain a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere that is evident at all times
- Passionately embody and promote the company culture and vision
- Ensure positive guest satisfaction through building effective relationships, monitoring opinion surveys, obtaining feedback and meetings, managing complaints/concerns and difficult scenarios
- Ensure each team member is motivated to deliver exemplary and enthusiastic service which reflects Glow’s culture and principles
- Ensure the premises are maintained in top condition and take pride in its general appearance
- Establish and maintain a positive and motivating work environment.
- Follow proper opening, closing, safety, and security procedures. Maintain cleanliness and preventive maintenance programs. Implement and execute all marketing programs to their fullest
- Maintain and protect all company assets
- Become a trusted and respected ambassador of Glow, promoting Glow to increase sales and profitability.
- Support the growth of Glow, chiropractic and holistic health
- Recognize business generators and traffic patterns and plan shifts accordingly.
- Community outreach with other businesses and community
- Perform administrative responsibilities (check in, check out, billing, POS transactions, appointment booking, patient education, etc.) and technical responsibilities (exam procedures, decompression and laser set up) with accuracy and efficiency.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Confident and assertive
- Ability to work on a team or independently
- 2-3 years in the hospitality/customer service, administrative industry
- Financial acumen and solid accounting skills are an asset
- Proven leadership and exceptional customer service skills
- Understands how to deliver outstanding 5-star service and is committed to doing so
- Enjoys, respects and understands the needs of clients and places their needs first
- Willing to go above and beyond, show dedication and work a flexible schedule
- Genuine respect, warmth and sensitivity for the needs of clients and team
- Strong computer skills, with knowledge of Google Workspace/Microsoft Office
- Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
- Organized, detail and results orientated, innovative and ability to work under pressure
- Strong problem solving and creative thinking skills
- Available to work days, evenings and Saturdays.

- Day shifts: Tuesday to Saturdays plus holiday coverage

Summary of Position:
You will work under the direction of the Clinic Director and ownership, to ensure that the Glow philosophy is maintained, and that company policies, procedures and standards are met or exceeded.
