Sidney Plumbing is a well-established and growing plumbing company serving Victoria and the Peninsula. We work across residential service, renovations, and light commercial and new construction projects.
We’re currently looking for a Journeyman Plumber to join our team. If you’re experienced, professional, and enjoy doing quality work, we’d love to hear from you. Experienced 3rd or 4th-year apprentices are also welcome to apply.

Our ideal candidate:
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential settings with some light commercial work
Handle rough-ins and finishing work for renovations and new builds
Diagnose and repair plumbing issues
Install fixtures (sinks, taps, toilets, etc.)
Perform re-piping and leak repairs
Use drain machines for cleaning and maintenance
Conduct camera inspections and hydro flushing
Install and service hot water tanks
Gas installation and service work
Test, repair and install backflow devices
Read blueprints and plan out plumbing layouts
Communicate clearly with customers, coworkers, and contractors
Ensure all work meets safety standards and code requirements

Requirements
5+ years of plumbing experience (required)
Red Seal Plumbing Certification (preferred; required for Installer roles)
Class B Gas Fitter License (preferred)
BCWWA Backflow Certification (an asset)
Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean record

Schedule
Monday to Friday
8-hour shifts
Some weekend work may be required depending on project needs

Plumbing: 5 years (required)
Journeyman: Red Seal preferred
Apprentices: 3rd or 4th-year apprentices considered
