We are looking for a reliable, organized, and motivated Logistics Coordinator to join our growing trucking and agricultural logistics team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating trucks, drivers, loads, and customer communication to ensure freight moves efficiently and professionally. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate daily truck schedules and dispatch drivers
- Communicate with customers, drivers, brokers, and suppliers
- Book and track loads from pickup to delivery
- Monitor driver progress and adjust schedules as needed
- Prepare and organize paperwork, load details, tickets, and delivery information
- Assist with rate confirmations, customer updates, and invoicing support
- Help maintain compliance records and driver documentation
- Problem-solve delays, changes, and last-minute requests
- Support management with operational planning and reporting
Qualifications:
- Previous logistics, dispatch, trucking, or administrative experience is an asset
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable using computers, email, and scheduling software
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Detail-oriented and dependable
- Knowledge of agriculture, bulk hauling, or trucking is considered an asset
- Bilingual English/French is an asset but not required
