Aki Building Services is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installer to join our construction and renovation team. We pride ourselves on high-quality craftsmanship and are looking for a professional who can install various building components with precision and efficiency.
This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to ensure projects are completed safely and on time.
Job Summary
As an installer, you will be responsible for the professional installation of exterior and interior components, ranging from windows and doors to finishing work. You will use a variety of tools and techniques to ensure every project meets our high standards for durability and aesthetics.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Installation: Professional installation of windows, doors, soffit, fascia, and eavestroughs.
- Technical Execution: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and installation instructions to ensure accurate execution.
- Precision Work: Install fixtures, cabinetry, drywall, flooring, or other building components according to project specifications.
- Finishing: Perform professional caulking and sealing tasks to ensure proper insulation and high finish quality.
- Equipment Mastery: Use hand and power tools—including drills, saws, levels, and measuring devices—with expertise.
- Site Management: Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety protocols and conducting quality checks on completed work.
Requirements & Experience
- Experience: Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or handyman services is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with blueprint reading is essential; knowledge of caulking and finishing techniques is a major plus.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely for extended periods.
- Flexibility: Ability to work long hours if needed to meet project deadlines.
- Transportation: Must be able to drive to reach various job sites.
- Collaboration: Strong ability to coordinate with team members and troubleshoot issues on-site.
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
