Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to enhance their comfort and independence
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Support clients with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living space
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster social engagement and reduce feelings of isolation
- Monitor clients’ health status, report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals promptly
- Follow care plans meticulously, documenting services provided and client responses for accurate record-keeping
Qualifications
- Previous experience in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly desirable
- Proven experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities, including dementia care
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety standards
- Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to client needs
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Valid certification as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) or equivalent is preferred; ongoing training opportunities are available for career development

Pay: $18.03-$22.00 per hour
