Job Summary
Independent Trading Group (ITG) Inc. is seeking a versatile and technically skilled IT Solutions Analyst to support and advance our growing technology infrastructure. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is comfortable spanning operational IT support, software development, and emerging technology administration. You will play a central role in keeping our systems running, supporting our technology and staff. This is an in office role.
Duties
Inventory Management
Maintain accurate records of all hardware, software licenses, and peripheral assets across the organization. Track procurement, deployment, and retirement of IT assets and ensure documentation is current and auditable.
Office Technical Support
Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day technical issues across workstations, peripherals, collaboration tools, and business applications, such as Iress or PositionWatch. Provide timely, professional support to staff and resolve incidents with minimal disruption to operations. Prepare and clean hardware/software for new staff and outgoing staff.
UI Development
Design and build internal web-based user interfaces to support business workflows and internal tooling. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate operational needs into clean, functional front-end experiences.
AI Administration
Manage and administer approved AI tools and platforms across the organization — including user access, usage governance, and policy compliance. Evaluate and onboard new AI capabilities in alignment with internal acceptable use standards.
Process Automation
Assist with implementing automation solutions to improve operational efficiency. Build and maintain scripts, integrations, and workflow tools that reduce manual input and increase throughput across the firm.
QA Testing
Assist with the development and execution of test plans for internal software and tooling releases. Document defects, validate fixes, and maintain quality standards across the software development lifecycle.
Server Management
Administer and monitor on-premise and cloud-hosted servers, including provisioning, patching, performance monitoring, and incident response. Ensure system reliability, uptime, and security compliance.
Network Management
Support and maintain the organization’s network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, VPNs, and connectivity services. Troubleshoot network issues and assist with capacity planning and security hardening.
Proprietary Software Development
Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of internally developed software applications. Work within established development practices to deliver reliable, well-documented solutions that address specific business needs.
Skills
- A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
- Broad technical competency across IT support, infrastructure, and development disciplines
- Comfort working independently and managing competing priorities in a small, high-trust team environment
- Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
- Curiosity about emerging tools and technologies, including AI
Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
