We’re on the lookout for a Production Technologist who thrives in a hands-on role and is ready to lead the charge in our manufacturing operations. You’ll help oversee critical tasks - from managing raw material inventory to conducting quality assurance checks - ensuring that our probiotics are produced with the utmost precision and care. Your Role in Our Success
- Participate in production processes, such as blending, weighing, labeling, packaging, and shipping while maintaining strict adherence to QA protocols.
- Manage raw material by receiving, recording, and maintaining accurate stock levels, conducting regular audits, and addressing discrepancies.
- Coordinate and manage shipping and receiving, including preparing necessary documents, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues or delays.
- Continuous monitoring of inventory levels of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods.
- Conduct quality checks at various stages of the production cycle to ensure consistency, compliance with standards, and product safety.
- Implement and refine operational processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and senior team members to support projects and troubleshoot production challenges.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall operations and production goals.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for transportation between production locations (travel costs will be reimbursed).
- Hands-on experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of operational processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail during labeling of finished products, adding components etc.
- A background in science is strongly preferred but not required.
- Basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Office tools.
- Able to manage time effectively, meet tight deadlines, and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.
- Adaptable and quick to respond to changing schedules and production demands.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Self-motivated, takes initiative, and works independently when needed.
- Physical stamina to handle tasks that require lifting (up to 50 pounds) and moving materials.
- A problem-solving mindset with a focus on maintaining quality and efficiency.
