Position Overview
As our Electro-Mechanical Assembler, you will play a critical role in bringing complex technical designs to life. Operating in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, you will be responsible for the maintenance , service, assembling, wiring, and testing of sophisticated electro-mechanical systems from the ground up, ensuring every unit meets our rigorous standards for safety and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Precision Assembly: Build complex electro-mechanical devices, sub-assemblies, and systems strictly following engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Wiring & Integration: Interpret intricate electrical wiring diagrams and schematics to wire systems, integrate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and perform basic industrial soldering.
- Tool & Equipment Operation: Utilize a wide variety of hand tools, power tools, precision measurement instruments (such as calipers), and specialized machining equipment.
- Testing & Quality Control: Conduct comprehensive functional testing of finished goods using designated documentation, perform ongoing visual/dimensional inspections, and identify defects.
- Troubleshooting & Collaboration: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on the fly; partner directly with engineering teams to optimize manufacturing procedures and resolve assembly challenges.
- Safety & Workplace Standards: Adhere strictly to all plant safety protocols, maintain a pristine workspace through general housekeeping, and manage light pressure washing duties as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or electro-mechanical equipment environment.
- Technical Literacy: Demonstrated ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic industrial soldering, tool handling, and precision measurement.
- Physical Demands:
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Able to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Able to handle a light pressure washer when required.
- Work Ethic & Flexibility: Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask under pressure, willingness to work overtime when production demands require, and possession of personal small hand tools.
- Bonus Assets: Prior experience with the maintenance and servicing of well monitoring equipment will be considered a significant asset.
