Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using a point-of-sale system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Respond to guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events or busy shifts.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service required.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to sanitize work areas according to health regulations and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and team members effectively.
- Willingness to learn about menu items and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
