Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist with the spreading and leveling of asphalt materials during paving operations to ensure a smooth surface.
- Operate raking tools and assist in managing asphalt flow on the paving site.
- Support heavy equipment operators by positioning materials and clearing debris from the work area.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
- Communicate effectively with crew members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain cleanliness around the work zone, including proper disposal of waste materials.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down paving equipment as needed to facilitate efficient workflow.
Experience
- Prior construction experience preferred, especially in paving or roadwork environments.
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, skid steers, or pavers is a plus.
- Knowledge of paving techniques and materials will be advantageous.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards.
