About Humber
Humber Aggregates & Soil Mixtures Ltd. ("Humber") supplies salt, aggregates, and soil across Ontario. We are known for reliable service, strong operations, and a results-driven team culture. We're expanding our inside sales team and looking for driven, organized, and customer-focused individuals to grow with us.
Why This Role Matters
This is a revenue-generating role focused on lead conversion and sales growth. You will handle inbound inquiries, follow up on leads, and close deals. Your ability to generate business directly impacts company growth.

What You'll Do
- Respond to inbound calls and emails from prospective and existing customers
- Conduct outbound follow-ups to leads and potential customers
- Generate new sales opportunities through consistent outreach
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Close deals and meet daily/weekly sales targets
- Maintain accurate records of all activities in CRM (Pipedrive or similar)
- Build relationships with customers to drive repeat business
- Attend weekly sales meetings with your team and Operations Manager
- Stay informed on products, pricing, and market conditions
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves:
- Experience in inside sales, B2B sales, or lead generation (1 year preferred)
- Strong communication and persuasion skills — phone and email
- Proven ability to follow up consistently and close deals
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on revenue
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment
- Proficient with CRM systems (Pipedrive)
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Punctual, reliable, and accountable
- Fluency in English (written and verbal)
Nice to Have:
- Experience in construction, aggregates, or building materials
- Background in telemarketing or outbound sales
- Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel
- Familiarity with seasonal demand cycles in the construction/landscape industry

Work Location Requirement
Candidates must be able to reliably commute to Mississauga, ON L4Z 1V9 or plan to relocate before starting work.
