Experienced HVAC Apprentice / InstallerJob Summary
Rocky Point Heating & Air Conditioning is looking for an experienced HVAC Apprentice / Installer to join our growing team.
We are a locally owned, family-run company serving the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas, specializing in residential heat pumps, air conditioners, furnaces, and ductless mini-split systems.
This position is intended for an apprentice or installer who already has hands-on HVAC installation experience and is looking to continue developing their skills with the goal of becoming a Lead Installer.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of HVAC installation experience, can work with limited supervision, understands proper installation practices, and takes pride in producing clean, high-quality work.
Responsibilities
- Install residential heat pumps, air conditioners, furnaces, and ductless mini-split systems
- Assist with and eventually lead residential HVAC installations
- Install line sets, drains, controls, and equipment according to manufacturer specifications
- Assist with equipment startup and commissioning
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
- Work closely with senior installers to further develop technical skills
- Follow company installation standards and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of HVAC installation experience required
- Registered HVAC/Refrigeration apprentice preferred
- Experience installing ductless and ducted heat pump systems
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Valid BC Driver’s License

Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime available during busy seasons
Experience
Minimum 2 years of HVAC installation experience required.
This position is not intended for helpers or entry-level applicants. We are looking for someone who already has experience installing HVAC equipment and is ready to take the next step in their career.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
