Canadian Locators Inc. is a well-established utility locating company with over 22 years of experience in damage prevention. We serve clients in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario and offer pre-engineering services including underground utility locating, mapping, surveying, and more.
We’re hiring a Project Performance Officer (PPO) in Alberta to support operational coordination, admin execution, and dispatch accuracy. You’ll be the link between field performance, back-end admin, and operations management. If you're detail-oriented, thrive under pressure, and take pride in clean, accurate work, this is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reschedule locates to align with operational needs and client priorities.
- Conduct audits by reviewing daily locator activity (e.g., hours, ticket volumes, completion) and investigate discrepancies.
- Submit biweekly (or as assigned) audit reports to Field Operations Managers, highlighting key findings.
- Assist with urgent locate or project delays.
- Dispatch tickets (if assigned), ensuring timely and accurate distribution by contract/region.
- Handle phones, emails, general customer service
- Support administrative and field operations with documentation and data coordination.
- Participate in process improvements and communicate updates across teams.
Required Skills & Traits:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable analyzing data and writing summary reports.
- Communicates clearly and professionally under pressure.
- Adaptable, with a proactive “team-first” mindset.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; post-secondary admin or operations-related education is an asset.
- 1 year+ experience in admin, dispatch, or audit-heavy roles preferred.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
