FRONTLINEZ Barbershop is seeking a talented and personable Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. We are a full-service barbershop that specializes in clean fades, tapers, beard work, children's cuts, and professional customer care.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, respects time, maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment, and understands that barbering is not just about cutting hair — it is about service, consistency, and building trust with clients. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hair styling, excellent customer service skills, and a professional appearance. This role involves providing high-quality haircuts and styling services, and engaging with clients to ensure an exceptional experience. There are opportunities to expand your knowledge through training courses.
Responsibilities
- Perform haircuts, styling, grooming services including, fades, tapers, lineups, beard trims, shaves, children's cuts, and other barbering services
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and offering professional recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
- Upsell retail products to clients to enhance their salon experience and increase sales
- Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and processing transactions
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business
- Tagging or promoting FRONTLINEZ on work-related social media posts when appropriate
- Protecting client information and maintaining professionalism at all times
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products through ongoing education
Experience
- Previous experience as a barber or stylist is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Experience working with textured hair and divers clients is an asset
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards in a salon environment
- Demonstrated ability in retail sales and upselling techniques is a plus
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a professional appearance
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
