Penn Automotive is a family owned and operated business serving our customers since 1965. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Automotive Service Advisor.

Duties
The Automotive Service Advisor bridges the gap between vehicle owners and auto technicians. They greet customers, translate complex repair jargon into simple language, prepare cost estimates, and schedule service appointments. They are the central hub of the auto repair shop:
· Answer customer inquiries, either in person or on the phone
· Listen to customer concerns regarding their vehicle and detailing the vehicle's problems or symptoms onto the work order
· Develop repair estimates by taking the cost of materials, supplies and labour into consideration.
· Update customers on repair progress, manage expectations and gain approval for extra costs
· Prepare invoices, handle payments, and manage daily schedule
· Order parts and materials, including bulk tire purchases
· Process parts and material returns to vendors
· Performs other duties as assigned
· Responsible as an employee for health and safety
Requirements
· Highschool diploma or equivalent
· Previous work experience in an auto repair facility
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to multi-task
· Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willing to work as part of a team
· Valid driver’s license (minimum G2)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
