Under the general direction of the Software Operations Lead, this position is responsible for support and configuration of the
Enterprise Service Management Platform. You will work closely with other Business Systems Analysts and System Developers to
engage directly with client users to provide specialized support, including complex data analysis, statistical reporting, and system
problem resolutions. The responsibilities also include developing and maintaining partnerships with key business owners and
applications to ensure optimal utilization and functionality of our applications.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for moderate and complex Service Management Platform inquiries.
- Provide backup support for Change Management processes.
- Facilitate business process meetings to discuss moving existing processes to the Service Management Platform and
develops innovative ways of acquiring and transferring professional knowledge.
- Develop and maintain reporting for the Service Management Platform that include requirement gathering, solution design,
testing and implementation.
- Provide routine and complex Service Management solutions that offer increased efficiency that align with business
processes.Perform general maintenance and complex configuration of the Service Management Platform and provide
consulting advice and expertise to clients.
- Develop and deliver training for new and existing Service Management Applications for all levels of the business including
support staff within D&T.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior staff in relation to supporting Service Management inquiries.
- Evaluate and research the latest application releases and prepare and execute communications to the clients.
- Assist in the gathering and analysis of business value measures, including compiling and analyzing data necessary for
benefits realization on completed projects and service level reporting.
- Support D&T performance management, benchmarking and process improvement related initiatives.
- As required, conduct business process analysis activities in the review, design or redesign of new or existing D&T services
within the Service Management Platform.
- Lead small moderately complex IT projects or initiative and/or participate in various IT software projects, upgrades or
initiatives.
Qualifications:
- A four-year degree in Computer Science or related discipline from a university of recognized standing plus a minimum of three
years' related experience;
OR
- A two-year Diploma in Computer Programming or Information Technology, Business Administration with a Technology
