We are looking for independent, charismatic, energetic, knowledgeable and fun personable tour guides to join our team and take part in the wonderful world of wine in the Okanagan!
We are looking for people who can represent our brand and have the following qualities and skills:
-Class 4 unrestricted driver’s license or better with clean driving record and paramount on safety
-Knowledge of the wine industry and tourism is an asset.
-Tour guide experience is an asset.
-Must be willing to work weekends and on short notice.
-You must be honest, independent, dependable, hard-working, fun, knowledgeable and reliable.
-Must have a passion for wine and people as we are in the tourism industry.
-Must be willing to work when needed and especially from June to September and on the weekends and long weekends.
We are looking for both part-time and full time (seasonal) guides.
We pay the best in the industry! On top of your contract pay, guides can enjoy an automatic 15% GRATUITY ON ALL BOOKINGS. No more getting ripped off by non tipping customers. THIS IS IN ADDITION TO YOUR HOURLY PAY!!!
Responsibilities:
1. This is a work from home position. After a contract is given to you, you must manage and successfully execute your tour from start to finish which includes the following:
2. Organize all the pick ups and times, and contact all guests the night before
3. Day of, go to designated vehicle and make sure vehicle is clean and sanitized and conduct pre trip inspection of tour vehicle
4. Pick up guests on TIME and whisk them away for a fabulous day of wine tasting
5. Be personable, funny, knowledgeable of the wines and Okanagan region. Your job is to entertain them and create the BEST experience ever! Go up and beyond to create the most memorable experience.
6. Be on time at each winery and help all guests remain on time.
7. Assist with wine shop purchases
8. Drop guests off happy and satisfied
9. Gas up and wash and clean vehicle ready for the next tour!

We are looking for guides who are flexible with their schedules, as this job can get very busy at times as we are looking for guides who can work when its busy and then when the season cools, can adjust how much they work (not a lot of work during the winter months)
