Location: Côté Gold Mine, Gogama, ON
Status: Full-time – Contract
We are currently seeking a Ground Person to join our team on our project at the Côté Gold Mine in Gogama. The ideal candidate is safety‑oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a physically demanding mining environment.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area around the crusher and throughout the crushing spread
- Perform routine maintenance on the crusher and associated equipment
- Operate a skid steer safely and efficiently
- Support the crushing crew with various ground-level tasks
- Carry out manual labour duties as required
- Adhere to all company and site-specific health and safety protocols
- Perform additional tasks or assignments as needed
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong physical ability to perform demanding manual work
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience working on a mine site
- skid steer operating experience
- Heavy equipment operation experience (asset)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
CONDITIONS AND BENEFITS:
- Work schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off, 12.5h/day
- Overtime: Paid after 40 hours per week
