Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Gas Fitter and A/C Installer to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing gas lines, HVAC systems, and air conditioning units across residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and repair gas lines and HVAC systems in accordance with safety standards and building codes
- Perform maintenance on heating, ventilation, air conditioning units, and related appliances
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installations
- Conduct soldering tasks as needed for secure piping connections
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and mechanical knowledge
- Ensure all work complies with local regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
Skills
- Proven experience in plumbing, HVAC installation, or related mechanical fields
- Strong welding skills for pipe fitting and repairs
- Knowledge of boilers, appliances, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately
- Mechanical aptitude with a focus on maintenance and repair tasks
- Construction experience is a plus for site preparation and installation work
- Familiarity with safety standards related to gas fitting and HVAC systems
- Mechanic experience or appliance repair skills are advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $20.96-$48.43 per hour
