Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and innovative UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic product development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging, user-centered digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design intuitive interfaces, conduct user research, and translate complex requirements into visually appealing and functional designs. A strong background in interaction design, usability, and data visualization is essential to deliver seamless user experiences that align with business goals and technical constraints.
Duties
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, Axure, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and translate them into effective design concepts.
- Create information architecture and interaction flows that enhance user engagement on web and mobile applications.
- Apply design thinking principles and best practices to solve complex usability challenges.
- Ensure accessibility standards (Web Accessibility) are integrated into all designs for inclusive user experiences.
- Utilize data analysis skills and analytics tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or Tableau to assess user behavior and improve designs accordingly.
- Participate in Agile workflows, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and iterative testing cycles such as A/B testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Maintain consistency across platforms by adhering to design patterns, style guides, and branding guidelines.
- Stay updated on industry trends related to digital design, motion graphics, front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and emerging technologies like AR/VR or Unreal Engine.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in UI/UX design for web applications and mobile devices with a strong portfolio demonstrating your work.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, Axure, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Balsamiq, Sketch, Zeplin, Omnigraffle, Adobe Dreamweaver.
- Solid understanding of front-end development languages including HTML, CSS (Less/SCSS), JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular is preferred.
- Experience with product development lifecycle (SDLC), requirements gathering, analysis skills, and APIs integration.
- Knowledge of usability principles, information architecture (IA), interaction design (IxD), visual design principles, motion graphics (Adobe After Effects), and web accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban; experience using Jira or similar project management tools is a plus.
- Strong data analysis skills with experience using Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics for insights-driven design improvements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- A degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science or related field is preferred but not mandatory if complemented by relevant experience.
