The Opportunity
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll lead by example and work alongside your team every day. Whether it's assisting customers, supporting the sales floor, merchandising, or helping wherever needed, you'll play an active role in the day-to-day operation of the store while developing your leadership skills.
This role offers a genuine balance between hands-on customer interaction and leadership development. Weekend availability is required; however, we close at 6:00 PM, so your nights are always free!
Your Impact
- Support & Lead: Help guide, motivate, and support a team of up to 20 retail employees.
- Drive Performance: Drive sales performance and elevate the customer experience alongside the Store Manager.
- Operational Execution: Maintain high store standards and visual merchandising.
- Build Culture: Help foster a positive, accountable, and supportive team environment on the floor.
- Step Up: Act as the primary Manager on Duty on the floor when the Store Manager is away.
What You’ll Do
- Lead by example by actively working alongside your team on the sales floor, supporting customers, assisting with merchandising, and contributing to the day-to-day operation of the store.
- Assist with day-to-day operations, team scheduling, and floor management.
- Coach, train, and develop sales and warehouse team members.
- Oversee inventory accuracy, stock flow, and showroom standards.
- Handle customer inquiries and escalations professionally and confidently.
- Keep daily store operations organized and running efficiently.
What You Bring
- Proven Leadership: Experience leading or supervising teams in a retail or customer-focused environment.
- High-Volume Retail Experience: Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment.
- Strong Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to motivate a diverse team and connect with customers.
- Organization: Ability to manage multiple floor priorities and stay organized under pressure.
Additional Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Post-secondary education is an asset, but not required.
- Experience in a high-ticket, consultative, or customer-focused sales environment is a strong asset.
