See You Vision Care is an independent optometric clinic located in Scarborough (Midland and McNicoll) looking for an exceptional, permanent optician. You will be responsible for various tasks including dispensing and will assist the optometrist when needed. The ideal candidate will be a friendly, personable, hardworking and reliable team player that will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors.
Start date: September 2026
Qualifications:
- Fluency in English is required.
- Ability to speak either Cantonese or Mandarin is required.
- Excellent customer service is required
- Student Opticians, candidates with optical experience, or those licensed with the College of Opticians of Ontario are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Greeting and checking in all patients and visitors
- Direct billing claims to patients’ insurances, handling cash and card transactions + returns
- Processing & placing lens and contact lens orders
- Eyeglass dispensing including fitting, repairs, adjustments and consultations
- Handling and assisting the optometrist with retinal imaging scans as well as using the autorefractor machine
- Administrative work such as booking patients, appointment recalls, faxing referrals, fulfilling office orders, etc.
- Answering phone calls, emails, and any inquiries
- Handling OHIP, ODSP, OW, IFHP transactions and appointments
We are looking for part time / full time position. Occasional availability for fill-ins would be nice.
