Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and food handling to ensure timely and quality service
- Follow food safety standards and proper hygiene practices at all times
- Support kitchen team members with cooking tasks, including ingredient prep and plating
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers according to safety guidelines
- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and supporting colleagues
Skills
- Proven experience in cooking, food preparation, or restaurant settings is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of the food industry standards related to cleanliness, hygiene, and safety
- Previous experience in food service or kitchen roles is preferred but not required
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 per week
