About the Role
We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Cabinet Designer who enjoys turning ideas into beautiful, functional, and buildable designs. If you're passionate about custom cabinetry, enjoy collaborating with clients and skilled craftspeople, and love seeing your designs come to life, we'd love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
- Meeting with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget
- Designing custom kitchens, bathrooms, built-ins, closets, commercial millwork, and specialty cabinetry
- Creating accurate production drawings using CAD/Mozaik software
- Preparing floor plans, elevations, shop drawings, and installation details
- Selecting materials, finishes, hardware, and construction methods
- Working closely with production and installation teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable
- Supporting project estimating and change management
- Solving design and installation challenges throughout each project
- Building lasting relationships with homeowners, builders, contractors, architects, and interior designers
- Delivering an outstanding customer experience from first meeting to final installation
What You Bring
- 3-5 years of cabinet or millwork design experience (preferred)
- Experience designing custom residential cabinetry or architectural millwork
- Proficiency with Mozaik, Cabinet Vision, or similar cabinet design software
- Strong AutoCAD or CAD drafting skills
- Knowledge of cabinetry construction, hardware, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
