Rotation Coordination Specialist for a
6-month temporary contract opportunity in Ottawa, ON. This role is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented professional who enjoys coordinating schedules, managing stakeholder relationships, and supporting the successful placement of pharmacy students across practice sites.
In this position, you will coordinate PharmD student placements, manage rotation schedules, support compliance tracking, and collaborate with students, preceptors, and partner organizations to ensure smooth placement operations.

Location: Ottawa, ON | Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days from home)

Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Responsibilities

Coordinate the placement of PharmD students across various practice sites.

Manage student schedules, rotation assignments, and placement changes as required.

Act as a key point of contact for preceptors, students, and partner organizations.

Track and maintain compliance requirements, including immunizations, training documentation, confidentiality agreements, and other required records.

Monitor placement capacity and identify potential gaps or scheduling challenges.

Maintain accurate databases related to student placements and program activities.

Generate reports and provide administrative support related to placement operations.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support successful student experiences.

Ensure placement information is accurately documented and updated.

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to student placement processes.
Qualifications

Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing records and documentation.

Ability to coordinate schedules and resolve placement-related issues effectively.

Experience working in an administrative, coordination, education, healthcare, or student services environment is considered an asset.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database management tools.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple stakeholders.
