Server / Retail Associate — Part-Time Lucifer's House of Heat
About the role
Lucifer's House of Heat is looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused individual to join our team as a part-time Server / Retail Associate. Your primary responsibility is delivering an exceptional dining and drinking experience to our guests. When customers are browsing our retail selection and require assistance, you will step in to help — answering questions, making recommendations, and completing sales.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and serve guests in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
- Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming floor at all times
- Assist browsing retail customers — answer product questions, make recommendations, and process transactions
- Develop working knowledge of our hot sauce product range, including heat profiles and flavor characteristics
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and in accordance with company procedures
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and management staff to ensure smooth service
Requirements
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Valid Serving It Right certification
- Must be available to work weekends
- Ability to manage competing priorities and shift seamlessly between service and retail duties
- Strong communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for delivering great customer experiences
- Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods
Nice to have
- 6+ months of previous service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Personal interest in hot sauces or spicy food
- Previous retail or product sales experience
Compensation: $18 + tips
