Phylax Security is seeking experienced Traffic Control Personnel for a long-term construction project in Downtown Toronto.
This role combines traffic control responsibilities with gate security and access control functions.
We are looking for guards who are confident, reliable, professional under pressure. This position requires strong communication skills, professionalism, patience, awareness, and the ability to maintain a calm and respectful presence at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic safely
- Control construction entrances and exits
- Verify deliveries and visitor access
- Maintain traffic signs, cones, and barricades
- Communicate with site supervisors and trades
- Monitor site access and report incidents
- Complete digital reports and documentation
Requirements:
- Traffic Control Person (TCP) / Book 7 Certification
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
- Minimum 2 years construction experience
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills
