Logistics Coordinator

Roslin provides a complete organic waste management solution for the foodservice industry, specializing in used cooking oil collection and grease trap services. Through our operations, we transform waste into renewable energy products while providing exceptional service to customers across multiple locations.
We are looking for a highly organized, customer-focused Logistics Coordinator to join our team immediately. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Woodstock, Ontario. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, communicate confidently with customers and coworkers, and have a strong sense of urgency, accountability, and attention to detail. No two days are the same, and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt is essential!
Primary Responsibilities
- Create and optimize daily service routes for approximately 8 drivers using Roslin's proprietary dispatch software.
- Schedule and coordinate routes involving used cooking oil collection, grease trap cleaning services, and new customer account set-ups.
- Manage restaurant service accounts and work closely with the Sales Team to onboard new customers efficiently
- Communicate daily with drivers to ensure routes are completed efficiently and customer expectations are met.
- Provide exceptional customer service through frequent communication with restaurant managers, franchise operators, and store owners by phone, text message, and email.
- Respond to customer inquiries, service requests, schedule changes, and follow-up communications in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor route completion, productivity, and service performance, escalating concerns and reporting operational KPI data to management.
- Support operational targets by helping hold drivers accountable to schedules, service standards, and performance expectations.
- Liaise with the Sales Team, repair shop personnel, and other logistics team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Troubleshoot operational issues including route changes, delays, vehicle breakdowns, and other unexpected events.
- Participate in regular driver meetings.
- Verify expenses, review sales invoices for accuracy, and track third-party service providers.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Excellent spoken and written English skills are essential. This role involves a high volume of daily communication with customers, drivers, and internal team members by phone, text, and email, as well as preparing reports and maintaining accurate records. The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly, professionally, and accurately.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a professional and confident telephone manner.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, route planning, customer service, or administrative support is considered an asset.
- Experience working with dispatch, routing, or transportation software is an asset.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Reliable transportation to and from our Woodstock area office.

- Monday to Friday schedule, 42.5 hours per week, with overtime as required.
