We are currently looking for an experienced CNC operator interested building a long-term career. Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of related experience on a Beam Saw and/or CNC machine, must be reliable, have a strong work ethic, good attitude, and a desire to learn. Knowledge of frameless cabinets, components, fabrication, and other machinery would be a definite asset.
CNC responsibilities and duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate CNC and/or Panel Saw, using programs and manual input.
- Check parts for accuracy, calibrate and adjust saw as required for clean cuts.
- Keep manufacturing areas free of debris and dirt
- Locate parts, tag them with identifying text and numbers, and record information such as gauge readings (in metric), time tracking, and material usage.
- Assist with quality control by reporting defective products or equipment malfunctions and if necessary, assist with any fixes.
- Be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly through the workday.
- Daily safety and operational checks of machinery and weekly deep cleans.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Load and unload scissor lift with 4x8 materials via forklift.
- Cross-training on other machines (Beam Saw and Edgebanders) to be incorperated as time permites.
Monday to Friday, 7:00am till 3:30pm, 40 hours per week.
Compensation:
- $23/hour, to start with review after 90 days.
- Benefits after 3 months’ probation.
- Enrollment into shop-wide bonus structure after 3 months’ probation.
