We are a reputable independent automotive shop specializing in European vehicles and other imports. Our reputation is built on customer service & quality workmanship. We are seeking skilled and independent Automotive Technicians to join our team and contribute to our commitment to excellence.
Job Description:
As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining European and import vehicles. You will work independently, utilizing your extensive experience and knowledge to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in European vehicles and various other makes.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on a variety of vehicles.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify driveability & electrical issues.
- Proficient in reading wiring diagrams and researching procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain a professional appearance and regular hygiene.
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid B.C. driver's license and the ability to drive manual transmission cars.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an red seal Automotive Technician, preferably with European vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of European cars (BMW, Mini, Audi, VW, Mercedes). Experience with other makes is also welcome.
- Proficient in mounting/balancing tires.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Experience with various diagnostic tools (such as Autel, Opus IVS, Launch, etc).
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills (driveability, electrical, programming).
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to research procedures, wiring diagrams and TSBs.
