Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing AMI or MACTE teacher, or RECE who is interested I completing Montessori training, to join our team in a co-teaching / assistant role. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Montessori and working with young children. This position offers the opportunity to educate and inspire students in an early learning setting.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on their developmental and academic performance
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Supervise children both indoors and out
- Assist whole school where needed
Experience:
- Experience working with children in a Montessori setting
- Strong time management skills to effectively plan lessons and activities
- Proficiency in English; bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Knowledge of childcare policies and practices in Ontario
