Trillium HR is looking for an Industrial Cleaner to work part-time for our commercial client located in Belleville.
Industrial Cleaner
Shifts:
- Part time - 16-40 hours
- Weekday shifts Monday - Friday - 6:30am to 3pm
- Weekly schedule set each week (must be flexible)
Pay Rate: $18.50 per/hour
Location: Belleville, ON
The Industrial Cleaner will maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility by cleaning and sanitizing assigned work areas following established policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to use Mechanical Floor Scrubber-Ride on and be comfortable with people traffic
- Cleaning Warehouse Floor by Vacuuming, Sweeping Mopping
- Cleaning Washrooms
- You will be in charge of Sanitization of the facility (Spraying disinfectant on equipment, tables, chairs, doors, etc.)
- Collecting cardboard and disposing them in the compactor.
- Collecting garbage bins and disposing them.
- Sweeping/mopping of floor.
- Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment
- Making sure all workstations are clean and in good working condition.
- Participates in company meetings as assigned. Attends in-service education programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be comfortable lifting, reaching, squatting, kneeling, crouching, etc.
- Must have some prior cleaning experience.
- Ability to work safely, following established safety practices & procedures.
- Ability to read and write English and follow simple written and verbal instructions in English.
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have a clear criminal background
Experience:
- Minimum 6 months of work experience as Cleaner or Janitor (required)
