Stump Grinder Operator
ASAP Tree & Stump Ltd. is currently seeking a dependable and motivated Stump Grinder Operator to join our team.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and can work independently while maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate stump grinding equipment safely and efficiently
- Grind stumps to company standards
- Clean up and remove stump grindings and debris from job sites
- Drive a truck and trailer daily to and from job locations
- Complete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Assist with tree service operations when required, including:
- Loading wood and debris
- Assisting ground crew members
- General site cleanup
- Supporting arborists and other crew members
At ASAP Tree & Stump, we work as a team. While your primary responsibility will be stump grinding, all employees are expected to help wherever needed to ensure jobs are completed safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license (mandatory)
- Comfortable driving a truck and trailer on a daily basis
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Physically fit and capable of performing demanding outdoor work
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Experience
Previous stump grinding, tree service, landscaping, construction, or equipment operation experience is considered a strong asset and will be given priority during the hiring process. However, experience is not required, and training can be provided to the right candidate.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
