Unify Health Clinic is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Echocardiographer to join our team on a part-time basis for Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturdays (as needed). The successful candidate may have the opportunity to move into a full-time position after a period of part-time employment, based on performance and suitability for the role.
Requirements:
- Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited program in Cardiac Diagnostic Medical Sonography / Adult Echocardiography e.g. Mohawk College or Equivalent.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) / Sonography Canada certification in adult Echocardiography (CMIRTO)
- Current BLS/CPR Certificate required.
Responsibilities:
- Performing echocardiograms
- Performing exercise stress echocardiograms as needed with a cardiovascular technologist with physician supervision.
- Providing optimum quality diagnostic images to aid in patient diagnosis and or treatment.
- Experience with Phillips Affiniti ultrasound machine and Cerebrum reporting system are assets.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
Work Schedule:
- Weekday - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Fridays, vacation/sick leave coverage, some Saturdays
Preferred Skills:
While not a necessity, experience in IV insertion and use of Definity ultrasound enhancing agent is an asset.
Salary Range:
