Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting a safe and secure atmosphere for all staff residing in Lake Louise Ski Resort staff accommodation. As a resident advisor you will have the ability to objectively and quickly assess a variety of situations, and respond through creative problem solving and appropriate application of policies and standards while maintaining fairness and respect.
Job Responsibilities:

Conducting regular patrols of Lake Louise Ski Resort staff accommodations and properties.

Providing assistance and information to employees outside of housing office hours.

Enforcing conditions of residence as outlined in staff rental agreements.

Completing required nightly incident and duty reports.

Liaison with local law enforcement and emergency service agencies as required.

Completing out of hours check in/out procedures.

Helping to clean and maintain communal housing areas.
- Respond to complaints and conduct incident investigations while maintain confidentiality

All other related duties as required by the Housing Management Team.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:

Must hold a valid Canadian or international license with a clean drivers abstract. Proof from your insurer of 3 years claims free history will be required.

Ability to calmly and assertively intervene, mediate and effectively communicate in sometimes confrontational situations.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with your peers.

Ability to consistently adhere to company policies and procedures, while also responding to incidents with empathy and respect.

Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Must be able to work independently with little supervision

Physically able to lift/carry 50lbs
-
First Aid, CPR, Self Defense and Mediation skills an asset

Night Shift – to be discussed at time of interview.
Dress Code:
Uniform shirt provided at cost, black pants/slacks in accordance with appearance standards
