Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Duties
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
- Manage guest orders efficiently, ensuring timely service and satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bar area, dining space, and kitchen surfaces
- Assist with food preparation tasks when necessary, supporting overall restaurant operations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming environment
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and orders efficiently
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math for cashiering, billing, and change calculation
- Experience with food industry operations including serving, food preparation, and hospitality services
- Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and team members
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance the dining experience
- Kitchen experience or prior hospitality background is a plus
