Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a variety of automotive issues using hand tools, power tools, and schematics
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
- Conduct complex repairs including engine overhauls, transmission work, and electrical diagnostics
- Utilize welding skills for bodywork or component repairs when necessary
- Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols during all repair activities
- Assist with vehicle assembly and disassembly as required for repairs or upgrades
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic,
- Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with automotive repair software or diagnostic tools is a plus
- Valid mechanic license or certification preferred but not mandatory depending on experience
