Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals who love animals and enjoy working in a dynamic, pet-friendly environment. The attendant will be responsible for ensuring the safety, happiness, and well-being of dogs in our care while providing excellent customer service to pet owners. Duties
- Supervise and interact with dogs during playtime, rest periods, and walks to ensure safety and proper behavior
- Assist with feeding, watering, and administering medication as needed
- Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and equipment regularly to maintain a hygienic environment
- Monitor dogs for signs of distress or illness and report any concerns to management promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets’ activities and well-being
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving supplies or large dog crates when necessary
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries within the facility
Experience
- Prior experience working with animals is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills are essential for communicating effectively with pet owners
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds
- Compassionate attitude toward animals and a genuine love for pets is highly valued
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards
