We’re looking for full-time Embroidery Machine Operators to guide our expanding Apparel Decoration team. This team brings some of the biggest sports brands, such as Under Armour, Adidas, Mizuno, and more to life through custom decoration. As one of our newest and fastest-expanding departments, there’s lots of opportunity to grow, learn new skills, and make a real impact.
The Embroidery Machine Operators will work onsite at our “Home Run Sports” location in Winnipeg (20 De la Seigneurie Blvd, Winnipeg, MB R3X 0E9). You’ll be at the heart of our production process, turning client designs into finished, high-quality embroidered apparel. Your work literally brings our brand (and our clients’ brands) to life.
· Operate and master a Tajima embroidery machine
· Set up, run and complete client orders from start to finish
· Ensure every finished piece meets our high-quality standards
· Troubleshoot, maintain, and care for the equipment as required
· Count and sort product
· Follow Health & Safety policy and procedures
· Maintain cleanliness of equipment and workspace
· Other apparel decoration or warehouse related tasks and duties
· Experience working with manual or automatic embroidery machine required
· Experience working with Tajima machines an asset
· Thorough understanding of different stitches, density and layering
· Attention to detail
· Ability to stand for long periods of time
· Ability to complete repetitive tasks with accuracy
· Ability to lift up to 50lbs
· Effective communication skills
· Excellent organizational skills
· Able to function as part of a team in a fast-paced work environment and able to work independently
· Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within frequently changing priorities
· Reliable and on time.
