Whitemud Resources Inc. is looking for a reliable and highly motivated individual to work with the Operations and Mining departments at our Metakaolin Processing Plant based in Wood Mountain, SK.
Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of heavy & light equipment, including Wheel Loader, Telehandler, Rock Truck and Skid steer.
- Perform routine maintenance & inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow instructions and specifications to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Sample ore, perform laboratory tests, record data and take measurements.
- Weather related flexible scheduling.
- Participate in safety audits and programs as required.
- Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
- Work in a team and participate in training other workers.
- May be cross trained on additional equipment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Experience working in heavy industry such as mining, mineral processing, oil and gas, power, or other related manufacturing industries is an asset.
- Repair work experience.
- A valid driver’s license.
- A valid Class - 1A driver's license would be an asset.
