Western Canoe Kayak is Western Canada's Premier Paddle Sports Retailer and the Manufacturing home of Clipper Canoes. We are looking for a Warehouse Worker to join our team in Abbotsford BC.
We need a hardworking professional who does not mind working in hot or cold weather conditions and be on their feet all day. We prize attention to detail, and above all else, a desire to deliver world class customer service assisting clients with loading and unloading of their canoe/kayaks. We require a Warehouse Worker who can pay careful attention on the job, and can take direction to complete tasks, which include:
- Pick merchandise from the warehouse and transport it to the shipping bay
- Receive merchandise for return or delivery and verify its contents
- Count and stock merchandise based on inventory control log
- Identify damaged, lost or missing merchandise
- Treat merchandise with care and concern at all times
- Prep Containers for Shipments to various dealers
- Count containers to determine appropriate contents via Check in Procedures
- Maintain presentation of boat storage facility for Customer Access
- **Starting wage is negotiable based on previous experience, driving with a trailer, forklift certification, mechanical repair skills and welding experience **
Skills and Other Requirements
- Available to work on Saturdays
- Valid BC Class 5 Drivers License
- High school diploma preferred
- Ability to work on feet and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required
- Current forklift certification a plus but not required

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
