About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electric Reach / Counterbalance Forklift Operator to support our evening shift operations. This is a hands-on role involving both forklift operation and manual material handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate an Electric Reach / Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
- Manually load and unload drums and similar containers from skids
- Weigh containers using a floor scale
- Band and secure skids of drums for transport
- Handle drums typically in the 200–250 kg range
- Utilize drum dollies and drum clamp attachments for heavier drums
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Requirements
- Valid forklift certification (Electric Reach experience required)
- Ability to safely handle heavy drums with provided equipment
- Comfortable with manual material handling
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work the full contract period
Hiring Process
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an on‑site meeting and forklift road test before final selection.
Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
