Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist with various dental procedures, manage patient records, and ensure a smooth workflow within the office. Candidates with ortho module preferred.
Duties
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Provide chairside assistance to ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Cleardent
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and treatment outcomes.
Experience
- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred.
- Knowledge of orthodontics and pediatrics will be beneficial for this role.
- Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
- Experience with Cleardent or similar dental management software is desirable.
